Compromising elections
Back in June and July there were rumors that the election might be compromised. By August the NYT was reporting it. By October the rumor mill was at full force.
I've been poking around and I have a new theory.
It's not about delegitmizing Trump. Well, not entirely.
It's about Federalizing the election process.
Which ironically would make it easier to hack the election. But you see, it's really about producting desired results. Imagine if the FEC not only oversaw every election, but ran them. All in the name of "national security," the states would be relieved of the power to run elections. Every election result would come through the FEC.
Imagine the potiential for corruption.
I'm pretty sure we're going to see election "reform" which will end up with the FedGovs running all elections.
