I do agree that most of the people who are "in your face" about their sexuality aren't as interested in actual sex as they are dedicated to pushing buttons and "shocking" society. And yes, that means politics. Nor do I think that bisexuals are the only group where that happens.

I really don't understand the need to proclaim yourself The Label™ as publicly as you can. I suppose it falls under "making the personal political."

If you define yourself as The Label™ rather than a person who happens to fall under the label, it's going to control how you interact with other people.

Somehow The Label™ is about governing your life. When that fails, you try to govern the lives of others.❞❞
