I wish I was joking. I don't know which is sillier, the fact that the flying fish paint job is $500,000 of taxpayer money, or the fact that the Alaska Fisheries Marketing Board has another 28 million plus of Federal funding to play with.
The question is not if there should be a fish painted on a plane. The question is if taxpayers in Louisiana and Arizona and New York should pay for it.
Actually the question is if taxpayers should pay for it.
