I’ve long held that Wilson messed things up, but Stockman calls him on it.
Just in case you’ve forgotten, it was illegal intervention in the aftermath of the Russian revolution that taught Russian soldiers that Americans would say one thing and do another. Some of those soldiers turned into Russian generals by the time WWII rolled around.
Not to mention Prohibition, the whole drug thing, the direct election of Senators, and the income tax.
