Maggie McNeill takes a stand

BeaconsOne of my delightful discoveries during the last two years was Maggie McNeill’s
The Honest Courtesan. I started reading for her frank and practical talk about sex, then because of her libertarian tendencies, then because I finally figured out she was if not pagan, then sympathetic. She’s really worth some reading. If you don’t agree with everything she says, keep reading. You’ll soon find more things you like than things you don’t.
She’s one of those people I’d like to have a long Conversation with once or twice.
Today she put up a
great piece about her political beliefs and government failure. Go read it, you’ll come away
thinking.
Which is one of the best things I can say about it.
