Undersecretary for Memorial Affairs denies Wiccan grave emblem, widow has only First Amendment lawsuit as a last resort

One of the main reasons I had for starting this site was to show that Pagans are people too. We're not so different from everyone else.

That is why I get furious when this keeps happening.

I may not be Wiccan, but there is absolutely no reason why a decorated veteran should be denied the symbol of his faith on his memorial plaque. Period.

Blazes, if the family wants Bugs Bunny, the VA should say OK. The man served, he was killed in action. How dare the VA question the marker.

Think about it, we have a government agency deciding what is and is not an acceptable faith.

Then what exactly are they fighting for?
