Unsupported

Great commentary on expectations of the iPhone

Naturally, as an Apple fan and gizmo fan I've been watching the iPhone with great interest.

I love it enough to have checked it out at an Apple Store. There are limitations though, it doesn't do everything I want yet, the memory is too limited to hold all of my music, and the coverage is spotty in my area.

But what has been even more fascinating is the criticisms of Apple, even over the things that Apple gives more freedom over than other cell phone manufacturers.

John Gruber at Daring Fireball had a great piece worth your time, The 'Un' in 'Unsupported.' He makes some great points about people's expectations about a product.
