Some Nokia phones can use add-on iPhone Apps

Wonder how far this will go?

Ah yes, the free market strikes again.

Unfortunately some people appear quite eager to design applications that only run on the iPhone. Doing so would shrink the userbase for such apps unnecessarily as there is another large family of devices capable of running iPhone apps: those based on the Series 60 OS. In 2005 Nokia announced a new browser for Series 60 based on Safari. Phones with that browser are shipping now, including the Nokia N75, N95, and Samsung SGH-i520.

Hat tip Gizmodo.
