Guest Article Demo - Updated

Example of how a guest article will look on this blog

Title of Article Goes Here

Author Name

Recently someone asked me if I could put an article of theirs on my site. I had never considered it, but I can't see any reason why I can't. So after poking around under the hood and looking here and there, I figured out how to make it work within iBlog without having to hand code an entire page. I still have to hand code the article block, but that is a lot easier. This allows all other features of my blog like Permalink, Comments and the RSS feed to keep working.

So, this is how I see it looking. It still compliments the overall look of the website. I can include any standard HTML code, but I would prefer if you stuck to links. The font is Palatino instead of Times New Roman Italic like in my normal quotes.

I'm not really an editor, but I am more than willing to publish almost anything within reason. It can't be too inflammatory and it should have some sort of logic. Even though I am a Pagan, this isn't my Pagan blog, I focus more on freedom and politics here. Other than that, I will publish anything, even if I disagree with it.

Maybe especially if I disagree with it.

For legal reasons, any graphics would need to reside in my server space, and I wouldn't be able to include any programming scripts. Obviously the article needs to be original and follow all copyright and fair use laws.

The article copyright information will show at the bottom of the block, along with any restrictions or permissions you would like to include. See below for examples.

UPDATE - Added a sample disclaimer and other samples of copyright statements. Updated sidebar copyright statement reflect guest author's ownership of their articles.
