A couple of thingsMysterious visitors, site load bug fix,
and an English lesson
First, there are some people using shell domains
from China and hitting this site too. There aren't any actual links on the
default page on the shell domain sites and they certainly don't have anything to
do with my content. There is no malicious coding being inserted, but you should
be warned. It may just be me being paranoid, but when I don't know why someone
is visiting my blogs I get
suspicious.
Second, I finally traced down and fixed the CSS bug that was screwing up the "Recent Comments" in the sidebar and causing long page load times. If I have time, I will replace the legacy Haloscan code, which should speed things up even more. But that will probably require a complete site reload, so I'll give you notice. Third, fixing the anthropomorphic/anthropogenic thing consumed a fair amount of time that I originally had budgeted for writing entries. I'll try to get to it later, but it may have to wait until in the morning.
