George W. BushI'm not exactly a die hard
Republican.
There are four things that I agree with George W.
Bush about.
First, I think government should be smaller. President Bush did make some efforts towards this in his first term. Second, I think taxes are too high. The President did push through a tax break, which made a good first step. His followthrough has been weak though. Third, I think that the United States owes the peoples of the Middle East the opportunity for democracy. I do agree with some of his appointments. But there is very little else that Mr. Bush has done that I agree with. Unfortunately, my agreement with those four things puts me in opposition to most modern liberals and progressives. Life is interesting, isn't it?
