Or maybe Pelosi is just lying because she can. The title of this post isn't
exactly
what Nancy Pelosi said.
Nope. It was worse. "Elect us, hold us accountable, and make a judgment and then go from there. But I do tell you that if the Democrats win, and have substantial majorities, Congress of the United States will be more bipartisan," said Pelosi. Is there anything that the Democrat leadership in Congress has done in the last two years that makes you think they will be more bipartisan? Do you think that if the Democrats make substantial gains in Congress, they will even deign to speak to the Republicans?
