Edwards campaign capitizes on Elizabeth's cancer - Updated


Bad taste doesn't begin to cover it

Looking for sympathy because of deadly disease is one thing.

Using your spouse's fight with that disease in your political campaign for President is about as low as you can get.

I guess we shouldn't be surprised, after all, Edwards was a trial lawyer who made millions by emotional appeals to juries seldom supported by facts.

Blazes. Rush Limbaugh was right.

I didn't want to say that.

Have we actually gotten to the point where someone's victimhood is the primary reason to vote for them?

I wouldn't even comment on it one way or the other except John Edwards made it a central campaign issue.

That makes it fair game, and I am going to call it like I see it.

UPDATE - Because of the outcry, the Edwards campaign has changed the policy.
