Great moments in modern liberalism

Better than fiction

In my FAQ for this site, I pointed out that the more extreme forms of modern liberalism can mean that good intentions and lofty goals are judged over results. I'm certainly not the only one to make that observation.

Sometimes I have to laugh at how I am proved right.

Michael J. Fox didn't read the initiative that he made commericials for.

So he doesn't live in the state that would be affected by the initiative. He didn't read the proposal. And his medical condition is supposed to exempt him from criticism.

Good intentions. Lofty goals. No practical results. The benchmarks of modern liberalism.
