Resurection of Air America

Why are the finances shrouded in secrecy?

Something is going on with Air America, and Brian Maloney smells something fishlike.

Long story short (I know, too late), the new company that is bailing the troubled network out is partially owned by Robert Glaser.

Robert Glaser resigned from the board of Air America's parent company literally hours before the bankruptcy.

No one seems quite sure where the money is coming from, that seems to be the usual procedure for Air America in all it's variations.

Hopefully the bankruptcy court will be able to shed some light on the finances.

The source of the money is the most important question.

The second question, and the one overlooked so far, is why?

Air America is a losing proposition. It has gone through scads of money. When it hasn't been run like a nonprofit, it has been run like the back room of a political campaign.

If it's only remaining purpose is to influence the 2006 elections, well, that violates election law and several FCC regulations.
