Bill Clinton, Censor in Chief


I think it should be his new title, and I am only too happy to contribute the photo.
Yesterday I changed my navigation bar to include this photo and I wrote this caption:

Bill Clinton and prominent Democrats are calling for ABC and Disney to pull The Road to 9/11 before it's broadcast. This is CENSORSHIP and CAN NOT BE ALLOWED.

It doesn't matter if the film is good or even if it is accurate. American politicos MUST NOT interfere with free speech and the media.

Afterwards, the media may get it's asses sued off for libel and slander, but that is after the fact.

I finished up with links to the three entries I had made.

Just for a moment, can you imagine the reaction of those same Democrats if it had been the former President Bush who called for the film to be pulled?

I haven't seen the film yet. I have taped the first part, and will be taping the second. I probably wouldn't have even given it that much attention except for one thing.

Politicians were calling for the film to be censored.

That's my whole interest.

American politicians wanted American freedom curtailed.

I could care less about how good the film was, how accurate it was, or even if it was shot in Esperanto with English subtitles.

I want to know why Michael Moore could do a "documentary" and be lauded as a liberal hero, but a Certain Democrat Former Administration couldn't stand the heat of criticism, even though they weren't the only screw-ups in The Path to 9/11.

So now that it won't be censored, I am pulling the entry from my navigation bar. But I am going to leave this blog entry.
