GrandstandingA Congressman tries to cram Christianity
into government and restrict the Federal courts jurisdiction.
This one has been making the rounds on the left side
of the blogosphere. I think it is a political stunt that has no chance of
passing, but lets someone take credit for making a
stand.
Do I think it is despicable? Yes. I also think it is despicable that Congress issues subpoenas so they can accuse oil companies of profiteering. I also think it is despicable that Congress spends more than the Federal government takes in in taxes. And I think that it despicable Congress tries to restrict the speech of citizens when it comes to Federal politics. Hat tip to davensjournal and juliaki.
