You'll have to produce 33 times as many signatures

Suing to overturn a Pennsylvania law that requires minor parties to have more signatures than the two major ones

This could turn out pretty good.

Two minor political parties sued the state in federal court, seeking to overturn a law that requires their statewide candidates to gather 33 times as many signatures this year as Republican and Democratic candidates for the same offices.

"Pennsylvania severely restricts competitive elections and is weighted heavily to the hand-picked candidates of the two major political parties," said the lawsuit filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Harrisburg.

The plaintiffs, which include the Green and Constitution parties, want the court to strike down the current signature standard as unconstitutional and order state officials to replace it with a less onerous requirement.

Hat tip to Hammer of Truth.
