The greatest threat


Modern liberals and progressives think that neo-cons and theo-cons are the greatest threat to America today
What is ironic is how they'll tell you that after the Democrats hold a majority again, the Republicans will have to "be closely watched" to preserve democracy and freedom.

Well, they are partially right. Fundamentalism is one huge part of the problem. Yes, I include liberal and progressive fanatics in the definition of fundamentalism. Anyone who has had to deal with some of the arguments on "global warming" knows that not all fundamentalists are religious. And if you have had to deal with political correctness and "hate speech," you know that progressives can be as dogmatic as anyone else.

Another part is the assumption that "winner takes all."

But the real threat in our troika is the entrenched government agencies. It doesn't matter which party is in charge if the regulation power rests with unelected "officials" and "agents."
