Florida prosecutors want to create false files

Shouldn't this be raising red flags and causing mass demonstrations?

Sometimes I wonder about people.

Especially when I see things like this.

Florida's prosecutors are floating a proposal to the Legislature to give them the power to secretly falsify public court records -- with a judge's approval -- for undercover law enforcement purposes.

Spurred by Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernández Rundle, the draft bill would limit the authority to manufacture and plant fake documents in court files to 180 days. But it also provides for an unlimited number of 30-day extensions.

If the court documents can be falsified AND entered into evidence, then where are the protections for citizens?

If this happens, the accused is literally "guilty" of whatever the prosecutor says, no matter what the facts of the case are.

The justice system has enough problems without manipulating the evidence.

This perverts justice and MUST NOT be allowed.
