It's later than you think

Just how far back does the Islamist War go?

On March 2, 1973 U.S. Ambassador Cleo A. Noel, Jr. was among those ordered assassinated by Yassar Arafat.

The scary part is that the U.S. State Department denied any connection between Yassar Arafat and Black September, even though declassified cables from that time make it clear that the State Department thought that Black September was nothing more than a front for Fatah.

Such diplomacy lays the roots for terror.
