I find it odd that the Planned Parenthood story is not getting more play.
Here’s my take.
I think abortion is repugnant. But as a libertarian, I can’t find a reason it can be banned.
I am absolutely certain that abortion should not be funded by taxpayers. Nor should organizations or companies providing abortions. Nor should companies that provide birth control.
Zero. Zilch. Nada.
Sex is a mostly a consensual activity. Pregnancy is one possible outcome.
There is absolutely NO reason why taxpayers should fund your sex and it’s consequences.
I suspect that Planned Parenthood could not survive without subsidies. And I am certain that seventy Democrat Congressmen think the exact same thing.
Legal does not mean free.
