Who is racist now?
I want something to celebrate.
They want something to blame.
We’re never going to agree.
Yet I’m the bad guy.
I did not humble myself and acknowledge the sins of my skin color.
I did not abase myself before the victim of the week.
I did not sacrifice my pride and power before their “need.”
Humanity is amazing. Human culture is fabulous. We’re better when we exchange bits and pieces with others..
Yet that isn’t “pure.” That isn’t “correct.”
