NeoNote — Deliberately created panic

His point wasn't about climate change, it was about how certain politicos and celebrities deliberately created panic over what was at best a very minor and misunderstood event.

It was global cooling in the 1970s. It was global warming starting in the 1980s. And when the models failed to predict, it was climate change starting in about the mid 2000s. Somehow that included everything from earthquakes to disease to starvation because dictators diverted food shipments.

None of this is an attack on climate science, which has been deliberately and continually used to justify drastic intervention despite the fact that no one knows how to reduce climate change. They can't even tell if this is part of a natural process or not. Oh sure, the climate crisis crowd alleges that it is human caused, but no one can eliminate the causes of previous cycles or show that the cherry picked data has anything to do with what is happening now.

What we do know is that there are loud politicos who want to take freedom, power, and money from people "for the greater good." That's one of the most dangerous phrases in history and inevitably leads to tyranny and disaster.
