This article is more important than it
seems.
Pelosi lashes out against insurance companies This article is important not because of what it says, but because of the assumptions it reveals. First, Democrats need a well-heeled enemy to blame. Second, the Democrat leaders know best, no matter what you think. Third, no matter what the past history of government involvement, the only POSSIBLE solution is more government control. And then there is another assumption, unique to the "health care reform." The only answer worth considering is giving everyone the same insurance. One of the things that I've seen time and time again is that the side that doesn't want dissent is the side that has the shakiest moral position. I'm pretty sure that applies here.
